Greetings Sorors and Friends,

Welcome to the virtual home of the award-winning San Francisco-Peninsula Alumnae Chapter (SFPAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

On behalf of the executive board and members of the San Francisco-Peninsula Alumnae Chapter (SFPAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., thank you for taking the time to visit our site to learn about our illustrious sisterhood, our chapter’s history, current initiatives, and our community programs. These programs are rooted by our national Five-Point Thrust Thrust.

•  Educational Development (Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy and Delta G.E.M.S., and partnership with Sequoia Union High School District
•  Economic Development (Financial Fortitude Workshop)
•  Political Awareness and Involvement (Voter/Candidate Forums)
•  International Awareness and Involvement (Chapter and individual contributions to CIYOTA: A non-profit organization in Uganda)
•  Physical and Mental Health (St. Jude Walk/Run and Soul Stroll for Health)

It is our goal to enhance our local and greater communities in each of these areas. As a non-profit organization, all of our fundraising efforts go directly to the advancement of these initiatives. The profit is gained when the communities we serve thrive and become the better for it. It is priceless. We are committed as a national sisterhood and dedicated as a chapter glad to be of service.

SFPAC has 40+ college educated members several with advanced degrees and working in professional careers that span the continuum. SFPAC is actively looking to reclaim sorors to help us continue the work we committed ourselves to as well as join a supportive sisterhood where each soror is a VIP. If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta and looking for a chapter home, we would love to have you join us by attending a chapter meeting, sisterhood activity or community service activity. SFPAC is proud to be a part of the Fabulous Farwest Region which consists of the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and the International chapters of Okinawa, Tokyo in Japan, and the Republic of Korea in Seoul. SFPAC believes in the power of collaboration and as such won the Most Collaborative Chapter Award at the 51st Farwest Regional Conference in July 2018. We continually look to partner with individuals and organizations who have similar goals and objectives. Please contact us if you are interested in pursuing a partnership with SFPAC.
